The beautiful garden at this hotel is truly a hidden gem. It's like stepping into a peaceful oasis away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Sitting in the garden with a cup of tea, I felt like I was in my own private paradise.
Lack of parking is the only issue.

We had a fantastic stay at The Old Post Office. It was perfect for our short break, with plenty of space and a great location for exploring the Dales. The living room and kitchen were spacious and well-equipped, and the communication from the host was excellent. The washer dryer was really useful for drying our wet clothes after a walk to Malham Cove. The Black Horse pub across the road served excellent food and the staff were friendly. a cosy and lovely place to stay with everything we needed provided.
Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

Stayed in a charming accommodation with a patio, free WiFi, and a cozy seating area. Enjoyed hiking nearby. Found it amusing that towels were actually featured in the holiday home.
Cramped kitchen - perfect for pretending to be a contortionist while preparing food.

Absolutely loved our New Year's stay! The cottage was quirky and charming, with a unique and clean interior. The beds were incredibly comfy, ensuring a good night's sleep. We also appreciated the fantastic black-out blinds and curtains that helped create a peaceful and restful atmosphere. The courtyard at the back was a delightful sun trap, perfect for enjoying a morning coffee or an evening drink. And the pub just across the street served delicious food, making dining out a breeze.
The lack of an additional banister on the stairs. This made us a bit apprehensive, especially because we had a severely autistic child who struggled with balance.

The location of the accommodation is convenient, with options for street parking nearby, as mentioned by previous guests. The cottage itself is quirky and well-maintained, with comfortable beds and blackout blinds. The courtyard at the back is a pleasant sun trap. The nearby pub, The Black Horse, offers excellent food and friendly service.
The property could benefit from an extra banister on the stairs for guests with reduced balance, as mentioned by a previous reviewer.
